Common widgets include Button and Text Box.
The Button widget is used only on forms, it cannot be added to the page. On the task form, the button allows you to reassign work to another user; on the app item form, you can use the button widget to open access settings.
The Text Box widget can be added to both forms and pages. For example, it can be a comment, the name of the product, the name of the responsible employee, or the term of the contract.
When you add a Button to the form, a settings window opens.
Select the button form, name, and icon. Then specify the action that will be performed when a user clicks the button. On the task forms, this is a reassignment; on the item view forms, it's opening of the app access settings.
An example of using the button on the task form
By default, any task form has a reassignment button. It is located in the upper left corner. We changed the button display - now the widget is shown as a rectangular button with an icon.
The Text Box widget can be used in headings, for example, in the header of a page or tab. Using a Text Box you can add a short phrase.
In addition, this widget allows you to:
- add any app field to the app view form;
- add a process context to the form of the start event or task.
- add a property from the Context tab to a page.
To do this, in the widget settings, click on the link icon to the right of the Text field. In the provided window, click on the <Not Defined> link and select a value from the list. Then click Save.
The selected value will be displayed on the form as a Text Box.
