Getting Started / Controlling schedule compliance

Controlling schedule compliance

For some tasks, it is crucial to meet deadlines and stay on schedule. This is especially true when you think about customer communications. Quickly handled applications, timely delivered goods provide your competitive advantage.

We have already created the “Order Handling” process, now we will set the deadline for tasks in this business process.

Setting deadlines

On the order page, click the gear icon next to the name and select Business Processes.

Go to the process designer and set the deadline for a task (“Approve order”).

Double-click on the task in the diagram. In the window that opens, go to the Deadline tab.

Select the Exact time option and specify how many minutes, hours or days will be spent on the task.

It may happen that the task will not be completed by the specified time, despite the deadlines. In this case, control tools are needed to timely respond to the situation and take necessary measures.

In the Notification field, you can specify the employees who will receive a notification if the executor does not meet the deadline. As the recipient, you can select the current user, the initiator of the process, or an org chart item.

Similarly, set deadlines for other tasks, and then save and publish the process.

Monitoring deadlines

Now, once the process is started and the task is assigned, a user will see its due date.

If the task is overdue, the due date is highlighted in red.

On the orders page, on the kanban board, expired tasks are also highlighted in red, and a red dot appears on the order card.

This way you can easily identify a bottleneck in a business process and quickly take steps to eliminate it..

Schedule compliance

If tasks have deadlines, you can track schedule compliance. This is one of the important indicators reflecting the employee's performance. It demonstrates how many tasks an employee completed in a timely manner within a month.

On the main page of the system, in the left menu, select Company. On the page that opens, you will see statistics on your schedule compliance.

Department heads can also view information about their subordinates.
